Deaf Mich. Scholar Wins 3 Degrees In 5 Years
A Detroit deaf mute, who studied year-round on various scholarships, chalked up three degrees since entering Gallaudet College, Washington, D.C., five years. He is Andrew Foster, 31, director of the Christian Mission for Deaf Africans in Detroit. His degrees include a bachelor of arts from Gallaudet, a master of arts in education from Michigan State Normal College, and a bachelor of arts in missions from Seattle Pacific College, Washington. Foster is currently worked toward a doctorate.
